Prof. Dr. Kamrul Hasan Tarafder is an ENT Specialist & Head-Neck Surgeon with academic and professional credentials from Bangladesh and international surgical bodies.

He holds MBBS and FCPS (ENT), and is a fellow of FICS (USA), FACS (USA), and FRCS (UK).

He currently serves as a Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology at Bangladesh Medical University, Shahbag, Dhaka, where his responsibilities include patient care, postgraduate teaching, and surgical training.

His clinical work covers ENT disorders, including chronic ear disease, hearing loss, sinus and nasal disorders, voice and throat problems, head and neck tumors, and thyroid disease. The appropriate assessment and treatment in any case depend on the patient’s symptoms, medical history, physical examination, and necessary investigations.
