Dr. MD. Shahan Islam (Uzzal) is a Cardiology (Heart) & Medicine Specialist with training and affiliations in Bangladesh and abroad.

He completed his MBBS from Dhaka, followed by BCS (Health). He later obtained MCPS (Medicine) and MD (Cardiology). He has professional affiliations and training from NICVD, MACP (America), and CCD (BIRDEM), covering cardiac care and diabetes-related heart disease management.

He currently serves as a Consultant in the Department of Cardiology at National Heart Foundation Hospital & Research Institute, Dhaka.

His clinical work covers the diagnosis and management of heart-related and general medical conditions. The appropriate assessment and treatment in any case depend on the patient’s symptoms, medical history, physical examination, and necessary investigations.
